Why Did I Create This Forum?

Many of you would be wondering: With all the yahoo / google / hotmail groups out there in the world promoting salsa in Singapore and worldwide, why would I go about to do something similar here.

This forum is in no way to compete with anyone. This forum is aimed at a slightly wider audience, to accomodate both those who are already active in the salsa community, as well as those whom have become slight less active (reads inactive) or new to the community. The forum hopes to provide an avenue to be able to allow us to keep the passion in each of us burning brightly and to encourage and help share and educate each other with experiences and new dance moves.

This forum would start with a couple of things:
- We hope to be able to shed some light on artists of the songs that we dance to so often in Union Square with our Artists of the Month.
- Introduction of upcoming movies related to dancing or salsa that may interest us which can be found HERE
- An activity segment for people to plan your salsa and NON-salsa activities for your friends. Even though friends may no longer be active in the salsa community, we hope to be able to still keep in touch through other activities as well. This can be found HERE
- Provision of information such as where to buy shoes, where to dance, what schools teach salsa so-on-and-so-forth. We hope to be able to provide information so that new comers can come in and browse and find out more just by browsing our topics and asking our members questions. This can be found HERE

So come and join us as we congregate the community of salseroes in Singapore and hopefully, around the world here.
